Family Therarpy

I have trained in family therapy throughout my career, including many years teaching at New York University School of Medicine and at the Ackerman Institute for the Family. I work with families of all kinds—straight, LGBTQ, and others in which people form meaningful bonds.

Working with a family can take different forms. At times it is helpful to meet with the family as a whole; at other times, it may involve seeing individuals alone or in smaller groups. The approach depends on what will be most useful in understanding the situation and helping the family function more effectively.
